Claudio

Hello! My name is Claudio and I am a classically trained pianist, musician and Piano teacher from Florence, Italy. I have been playing piano for over 20 years, and teaching for the last couple of years. I have a Bachelors Degree in Music from Goldsmiths University, where I was also the recipient of the Ivashkin scholarship of merit. I hold ABRSM certifications in grade 8 piano and grade 5 theory. I trained under English concert pianist Clive Britton for several years in Florence. I have performed as a soloist, and as a member of various ensembles.

My musical background covers from the Baroque period to contemporary composition, and my personal interests range from Latin rhythms to African folk music.

I enjoy a friendly, personal, and flexible approach to teaching children, teens and adults. Not only do I focus on technical skills but also on musicality and interpretation, establishing achievable goals for each individual student.
