Alex

Alex is currently in his second year studying for a degree in Primary Education at the University of Sussex. He started playing piano at the age of 6 when his Mum started to learn and wanted someone else in the family to join her, he was soon engrossed!

He is very passionate about all the arts, at the age of 7 he began singing in his local cathedral choir and later took up the double bass and cello too!

Teaching is a passion of Alex’s and he is very experienced working with children between 5 and 17. As well as piano he also teaches singing at a local Stagecoach Performing Arts School.

His experience with different instruments and musical styles make Alex a very versatile teacher, happy to adapt lessons to what his students prefer to work on. He is able to work with students towards ABRSM or Trinity exams or teach in other styles such as pop or musical theatre.

When not studying or teaching, Alex loves to travel and spend time with his family and friends.
