Cameron
Cameron has been teaching piano, violin and guitar professionally for eight years, and has been performing for twenty. After receiving ABRSM Grade 8 Distinction on violin in 2010 and piano in 2012, he performed Rachmaninoff Piano Concerto No. 2 with his school’s orchestra in 2015, received full marks in his Music A Level final year and studied for three years at The University of Manchester, where he received an 85% in his final performance module on piano.
He has since been teaching individual lessons and classes in classical piano from beginner to Grade 8 standard. Cameron’s teaching approach encourages strong piano technique and successful exam results but with an ability to perform and an understanding of musical performance.
He also works in six professional rock bands, performing live within the past year at sold-out shows in venues that include London Palladium, 02 Kentish Town Forum, Wolverhampton Civic Hall and Newcastle 02 City Hall amongst others, also touring Holland, Switzerland and later this year France and Australia.
He also has experience working with students with autism and ADHD, transcribes on Sibelius professionally should a student ever have a song request to learn, accompanies on piano professionally, and records and composes frequently at studios including Abbey Road and Church Studios amongst others.
