Charlie

Hi, I’m Charlie. Originally from Brighton but now living in Camden, I have played the piano since I was nine years old. Having completed my Grade 8 at age 16, I am now ARSM qualified in Piano Performance.

I am passionate about classical music and subsequently have a strong grasp on classical repertoire but I also equally enjoy teaching jazz and pop pieces. While I can advocate for the progression ABRSM and other boards’ grade systems can lend a pianist, I believe students should enjoy learning the pieces they play and therefore I am open to however my students want to learn.

Having taught children as young as four, I am comfortable teaching all ages and aspire to tailor lessons to each individual and foster a love in music. In my free time, I often find myself either composing my own music or jamming with my flatmates.
